Hi Malcolm,
It's a nice shot, balancing land and sky isn't easy, I've found a 3 stop soft neutral density filter is usually a better bet that trying to bring it out in photoshop. You don't even need to worry about pricey holder systems, I usually just hold it in front of the lens. The new version of lightroom has a cool ND type adjustment that will let you tweak the image from the RAW file. Cool blog though bud.
